EXAMINATION COMMITTEE
The Examination Committee is a top level committee of the College which is headed by Examination In-charge, and is facilitated by three sections: Examination, Record Maintenance and Administration.
Objective:
To help and ensure smooth and orderly conduct of Examinations in the College as per guidelines issued by the University of Mumbai from time to time.
Responsibilities:
Duties, Responsibilities & Work to be Undertaken
The Examination Committee is responsible for the planning, coordination, conduct and administration of Internal Assessment and Semester-End Examinations at the College level, in accordance with the rules, ordinances, circulars and guidelines issued by the University of Mumbai and other competent authorities and University of Mumbai Examination SEM V AND SEM VI.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

To plan and coordinate all Internal Assessment and Semester-End Examinations as per the University schedule and guidelines.

To prepare and publish the College Examination Timetable in accordance with the University examination programme.

To coordinate the setting, collection, custody and confidentiality of question papers.

To verify the eligibility of students appearing for examinations and ensure completion of necessary examination formalities.

To make arrangements for examination halls, seating plans, supervisors/invigilators and other examination requirements.

To ensure the smooth, fair and disciplined conduct of examinations.

To maintain confidentiality and security of examination-related documents and materials.

To coordinate the assessment/evaluation of answer books and ensure timely completion of assessment work.

To collect, verify and maintain Internal Assessment and Semester-End Examination marks.

To ensure timely submission of examination marks and other required information to the University through the prescribed system/portal.

To maintain complete examination records, attendance records, marks statements and other examination documents.

To scrutinize students' eligibility for Additional Examinations, ATKT and examinations for ex-learners, wherever applicable.

To make necessary arrangements for Additional/ATKT examinations as per University rules.

To coordinate the processing and declaration of examination results as per the prescribed procedure.

To attend to examination-related student queries and grievances falling within the jurisdiction of the College Examination Committee.

To coordinate with the University of Mumbai Examination Department and comply with University circulars, notifications, ordinances and instructions issued from time to time.

To ensure that examination-related work is completed within the prescribed schedules and deadlines.

To assist in maintaining the integrity, transparency, confidentiality and credibility of the examination system.

To undertake any other examination-related work assigned by the University of Mumbai or competent examination authority.
UNFAIR MEANS COMMITTE
Timeline:
After conduct of examination all the unfair-mean cases to be cleared within 15 days from the last date of Examination.
Report to be prepared and documented in unfair-mean Committee file.
After assessments of answer-book:

In a mark sheet first-absentee numbers to cross verified by teacher/HOD/Coordinator of respective subjects.

After the entry of marks first verification to be done by Examination clerk, second verification by H.O.D/ Coordinators of respective subject, followed by authentication of Examination Chairperson.
At the time of submission of marks on university portal:

Verification by clerk & Teacher.

Verification by HOD/ Co-coordinator.
-
Verification by O.S. & Examination Chairperson.

Before submission once again absentee number to be cross verified O.S./Examination Chairperson.
