
HISTORY OF OUR COLLEGE
The College operates under the aegis of THE EAST KALYAN WELFARE SOCIETY, a renowned educational trust with a legacy of over 50 years in and round Thane district. Established in 2002, the College is dedicated to providing higher education, particularly to students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Affiliated with the University of Mumbai, the College has earned the prestigious NAAC 'B' grade (FIRST CYCLE) accreditation. The College primarily caters to the educational needs of the students from diverse backgrounds. Its focus on holistic education promotes critical and independent thinking.

Infrastructure and Facilities:
The College is equipped with modern infrastructure, including well-furnished classrooms, a library,computer laboratories, and seminar hall. It also emphasizes extracurricular activities to foster overall student development. The NSS unit, comprising 200 volunteers, organizes various initiatives to instill social responsibility among students. Financial assistance is available to eligible students through government scholarships. Additionally, the College has established several support cells and committees, including the Students' Grievance Redressal Cell, Anti-Ragging Committee, Model kala Tarang, Sports Committee, Extension Committee, WDC etc.,
